My family and I have been using Specsure Opticians for our eye care for 3 years now and the service has been first class. The staff are always friendly and helpful and there is always a huge range of frames for both adults and kids. I’ve just had my frames straightened today free of charge after standing on them on holiday!! I would recommend Specsure to anyone, keep up the great work guys!!!

I don’t normally leave reviews but really felt I should in this case because the service was brillinat and worth shouting about. I live in Australia and had come over to Consett to visit my parents. The side broke on my glasses and although the shop was very busy a gentleman came from the lab (he had a white coat on!), took my glasses into another room oit the back and fixed things in 5 minutes and didn’t charge anything either. I was very grateful to have my glasses fixed never mind have it done for free. I was very very impressed. Absolutely brilliant service and a huge thanks.

I’ve been wearing glasses for years and have had my eyes tested by numerous opticians, but never have I had my eyes checked as thoroughly as I did today. The Optician was friendly and professional and took his time to carry out a really good eye test. I didn’t need any more glasses because my prescription hadn’t changed much, but I know where I’ll be going for my next sight test. Highly recommended!

I just want to thank the staff from Specsure Consett. I have elderly parents who rely on good customer service, the staff can’t do enough, they go out of their way to help and advise. Thrown in is always a cup of tea. The Manager I’m informed (my mother insists on telling me) is exceptional in his care and advise. So I would just like to thank you all on behalf of my parents and indeed myself for taking care of them. Thank you so much.

Very impressed with this Opticians. My husband and I brought our daughter (who is 8) here for an eye test as she was struggling when seeing the board. She got her glasses made up on the same day & was also given a free pair of prescription sunglasses. Never heard of children receiving free prescription sunglasses before! Number 1 in Consett!

Great Opticians with very pleasant staff. Not had any bother with my varifocals. I got some new ones in last week and was offered a free pair which Derek tinted for me for free too. Made me a very happy man!
